IntroductionTumour-induced osteomalacia (TIO) is a rare paraneoplastic syndrome caused mainly by a phosphaturic mesenchymal tumour (PMT) as a consequence of fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF23) overproduction. The manifestation of TIO is mostly musculoskeletal.
